While many patients seek either a breast lift or a breast augmentation, sometimes what they really need is a strategic combination of both. A breast lift with carefully selected implants will restore the shape and volume you desire. During your consultation at Belcara Health, your board-certified plastic surgeon will evaluate your breasts, discuss your concerns and goals, and design a surgical plan to provide you with results you’ll love. Together, you and your surgeon will review your breast implant options including size, fill material (silicone or saline), shape, profile, and placement.

Where will the procedure take place?

Most breast augmentation with lift patients elect to have their procedures performed in our on-site surgery center. Our 5-star facility, the Clarkview Surgical Center, was designed with the safety, comfort, privacy, and convenience of our patients in mind. It features state-of-the-art technology and meets the most rigorous safety standards. We are proud to be one of the few outpatient surgical facilities to earn AAAHC accreditation, as well as certifications from Medicare and the state of Maryland. Because safety is our first concern, all surgical procedures are performed with board-certified anesthesiologists and registered nurses.

How is breast augmentation and lift performed?

Your surgical plan will depend on how much sagging needs to be corrected and the amount of excess skin that needs to be removed to provide the results you desire. Breast lift with augmentation surgery involves strategic incisions, through which your surgeon will remove excess skin, lift and tighten remaining skin, place your chosen breast implants, and re-position the nipple (if necessary). Breast surgery incisions are always placed as inconspicuously as possible and closed for optimal fading.

This procedure typically takes between 2 to 4 hours, depending on the extent of your surgery. Because this procedure is mostly performed on an outpatient basis under general anesthesia, you will be able to return home the same day.

How long is recovery after a breast augmentation with lift procedure?

While you’ll likely begin feeling better and ready to return to work in about 4 to 6 days, you will need to avoid more strenuous activities and exercise for about 4 to 6 weeks.

What does a breast augmentation with lift procedure cost?

We understand that having a general range of procedure prices can be helpful so we are happy to provide estimated price ranges for the plastic surgery procedures we perform.  However, it is important to note that these price ranges are general estimates only.

**NOTES: The specific risks and the suitability of this procedure for any given individual can only be determined through a consultation with our surgeons. Breast enhancement is usually cosmetic in nature and is therefore not covered by insurance unless the indication for surgery was due to breast reconstruction.
