Aesthetic Fellowship at Belcara Health

Belcara Health is excited to present our fellow surgeon chosen for the 2024/2025 Fellowship Program. Dr. Paige Goote was hand-selected by Dr. Michael Cohen, your care and surgery will be provided by Dr. Paige Goote under the supervision of Dr. Michael Cohen and the other plastic surgeons on staff. Dr. Cohen interviewed many candidates looking for the right surgeon to join our practice for this highly coveted Fellowship Program at Belcara Health. He recognized the special attributes and leadership skills of Dr. Goote, which are compatible with the high standards of Dr. Cohen and Belcara Health. Dr. Goote is a native of Michigan. She attended Grand Valley State University for her undergraduate training where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science. She then obtained her medical degree from Michigan State University, College of Human Medicine.

After her completion of medical school, she went on to complete a highly competitive, six-year Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency at Hofstra/Northwell School of Medicine . Each year, the residents rotate through the tertiary hospitals in the health system. These include Long Island Jewish Medical Center, North Shore University Hospital, Cohen Children’s Medical Center, Staten Island University Hospital, Lenox Hill Hospital and the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital (MEETH). This diversity in training sites provides broad exposure to faculty, patients and clinical scenarios. She is also academically involved, having published various manuscripts in the field of plastic & reconstructive surgery. In addition, she has been involved in her community through leadership roles with the ASPS, AMA, Young Life and was a volunteer for medical clinics in both Ecuador and Michigan.
