How the Weekend Laser Peel Works
The Weekend Laser Peel involves the removal of a layer of damaged skin. The Treatment Experience
The treatment is safe and gentle, with minimal discomfort. The experience will vary from person to person. Some patients have described a slight stinging sensation, like the snapping of a rubber band, but most people find it to be very tolerable. A topical anesthetic cream can be applied 45 minutes before the procedure, if desired, to minimize discomfort.
Immediately following the procedure, you will feel as if you have a bad sunburn. Day 1, you will have minor sloughing and itchiness. Day 2, the redness will begin to fade. Day 3, any residual redness can be easily covered by makeup. You will be extra sensitive to sunlight and must avoid direct exposure until fully healed.
