Skin Tightening at Belcara Health in Baltimore, MD

We all want to maintain our healthy, firm and young-looking skin. However, due to genetics and environmental exposures, the collagen within our skin begins to diminish as early as age thirty. As the collagen and elastin in our skin begin to break down faster than they are rebuilt, our skin becomes loose, saggy and wrinkled. It is most noticeable in the delicate, thin skin around the mouth and forehead, jawline, lips and neck. At Belcara Health, we have a variety of non-surgical skin tightening solutions to help tighten and smooth your skin for a more youthful, healthy look.

Please note: Belcara Health reserves the right to withhold the $50 deposit of any patient who cancels within 24 hours of their scheduled appointment, or fails to show up for their scheduled Skin & Laser appointment.

Profractional Lasers

ProFractional is an advanced laser technology that replenishes your own natural collagen – in as little as one treatment. Just as we aerate our lawns to grow thick, healthy grass, a ProFractional Laser will help to stimulate natural collagen growth for firmer, healthier skin. By placing tiny holes within your skin tissue, ProFractional laser triggers your body’s natural healing process to develop rich, new collagen stores. At Belcara Health, ProFractional Laser is performed with a safe and highly effective, erbium laser known as Sciton. After your treatment, you will immediately begin to experience tighter and rejuvenated skin and your results will continue to improve for up to six months.

MicroNeedling

Microneedling treatment is a minimally-invasive, non-surgical and nonabrasive procedure for facial rejuvenation that gives you radiant skin with lasting results. It is considered one of the safest skin treatment procedures and is appropriate for all types of skin. The treatment uses a pen-shaped device that uses tiny, fine needles to penetrate the skin at a very high speed. As the fine needles puncture the skin, they create channels or micro-wounds that trigger the body to fill them with new collagen and elastin, which leads to improved skin texture, firmness, and hydration. It also bolsters your skin’s ability to absorb skincare products, hence enhancing their effectiveness and benefits. Microneedling will make your skin act as it did in your 20’s; it will be thicker and have a more beautiful tone and texture.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal Fillers are very helpful for reducing unwanted links and wrinkles and creating a firm, more youthful appearance. Hyaluronic acid gel fillers, such as Juvederm, Voluma, Restylane and Perlane, work well to reshape and smooth the surface of aging skin, particularly nasolabial folds, smile lines, and drooping corners of the mouth. These temporary fillers restore fullness to the skin and reduce the appearance of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, creating a smoother, more youthful appearance.

Other dermal fillers are specifically designed to stimulate new collagen formation that is lost with age, including Sculptra and Radiesse. These fillers are used to restore youthful skin by enhancing the volume of the tissue lost with time. They work by stimulating your own collagen growth and works really well in for enhancing sunken cheeks or temporal hollows. Injected directly into the skin, these fillers give you an immediate, visible improvement of folds and wrinkles, and results continue to improve over time, providing long-lasting results.
